Nové Město na Moravě

Nové Město na Moravě  is a town in the Vysočina Region in the central Czech Republic. It has about 10,500 inhabitants. The town is a prominent Czech winter sports resort and it hosted the 2013 Biathlon World Championships.

Nové Město na Moravě is an important ski centre of Českomoravská highlands. The ski-centre offers racing and tourist cross-country skiing tracks, 3 ski lifts with technical snow and night skiing, ski rent office and cloakroom. Downhill course is prepared by snowmobile. Friday – Sunday on ski slope Harusův hill is opened ski school for downhill and running skiing. Ski area is noted above all for ski races Zlatá lyže (Golden ski) and races of world cups.

In the surroundings of Nove Mesto is regulates in the winter over 100 km ok hiking trails by a snowmobile. The circuit around Zahradnikova corner is adjusted daily for classic and skating, other routes once a week before the weekend, and only for the classics.

Between Vlachovice and Sklene are adjusted trails for dog sledding. These tracks are adjusted for freestyle and the public can use them in the time off training and racing.
